Our products

• Our products are cosmetics for use on the outside of the body. What we say about them describes how they look and feel on skin and hair.
• Every product page lists the full ingredients. Read them, and the label, before you use a product.
• Try a little on the inside of your arm first and wait a day. Stop using a product if your skin reacts.
• Keep products away from your eyes unless they’re made for the eye area, and out of reach of children.
• Nothing on this site is medical advice. Results differ from person to person.

Orders and prices

• Prices and any shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email.
• If a price or a product on the site is wrong, or a product becomes unavailable, we may cancel the order and refund what you paid in full.
• Colors on a screen can differ from the product in your hand.

Verses in El Batey

• You must be 18 or older, and the verse must be your own.
• You keep the rights to your verse. By putting it up, you let us show it on this site with the name you signed.
• If you tick the box to give permission, you also let us print it on our packaging, signed with the name you gave, free of charge and for as long as that packaging is made.
• We may hide any verse that breaks the rules shown in El Batey. Write to us and we’ll take yours down.

Mural images and cards

The images of your words on the mural that you make in El Estudio, and the cards you draw in Las Cartas, are yours to keep and share for personal use. Your words stay yours. The art in them, the mural with its painted flor de maga and the card designs, stays ours.

What’s ours

The art, photographs, verses, text, labels and the anacaona wordmark on this site belong to [Company legal name]. You’re welcome to share links and screenshots for personal use. Any other use needs our written permission.

Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and running, and we offer it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State or country]. If you live in another country, you keep the protections its consumer law gives you.
